Killaflaw – Set Me On Fire (9th October on A Perfect Noise)
Born from the influences of the rave scene & the rock driven sound of the likes of Led Zeppelin, Killaflaw are an explosive act consisting of Benn Helm on main vocals & guitar with Andy Paton providing synths, samplers, drum machines, vocal harmonies & trumpet. Their debut EP ‘Revolution’ received critical acclaim, notably from Tom Robinson, Kerrang!’s Emma Scott and Eddy Temple-Morris (“the missing link between Soundgarden & The Prodigy”). The second EP ‘Holy Funk’ was released in July & will be followed with the release of ‘Set Me On Fire’. Key shows have included supporting Alabama 3 & Phil Hartnoll of Orbital, having worked alongside Chase & Status the previous year. They embark on a UK tour in October, while preparing for the release of a third EP in early 2010, prior to the release of their debut album ‘Sleaze and Grit’.
