Attack! Attack! – Not Afraid (24th May on Atticus Black)
Following more than a year of solid touring in support of their self-titled debut album, released in October 2008, Welsh melody merchants Attack! Attack! took some well earned time off to begin work on its follow up. Said follow up is planned for a summer release, but here is the first fruit of their labour, in the form of new single, ‘Not Afraid’ (released on Atticus Black, the new music arm of the famous Atticus clothing brand formed by members of Blink 182 back in 2001), coinciding with their recently announced UK headline dates (London date – Borderline 30th April). The CD version of the single also includes a cover of The Knack classic, ‘My Sharona’, a track the band covered throughout their live shows last year. The South Wales based quartet enjoyed a wave of media support with their debut, securing slots at the Reading & Leeds, Download & Sonisphere festivals & a sync for their 'You and Me' single on hit US TV show 90210 along the way, before culminating in their inclusion on the global gaming phenomenon Guitar Hero 5.
